Rural businesses in the East Riding can apply for funding to develop tourism.

Applications are invited for investments to establish and develop co-operative partnerships seeking to improve and promote the local visitor economy.

This call seeks applications from rural businesses, charities, trusts and public bodies in North Yorkshire and the East Riding.
Support is available for groups of businesses, or groups of businesses and the public sector to work together. There should be a logical basis for collaborative groups such as being from a defined geographic area or targeting similar visitor markets.
The aim of this call is to promote visitor destinations in rural areas. The call will support new activity from collaborative groups to promote visitor destinations in rural areas in a co-ordinated way by:

  • developing new collaborative tourism activity in rural areas
  • marketing of new collaborative tourism activity in rural areas.

Grants will be available for this call from £35,000 up to £500,000 depending on state aid already received.

This is backed by the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF).
