Up to 3000 new jobs are to be created in one of the Humber Enterprise Zones.  Planning permission was granted by East Riding Council for a new distribution centre at Capitol Park on the Goole 36 Enterprise zone.

The development, which was put together by Capitol Park owners Sterling Capitol and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), will include a mix of warehouse units, retail and leisure facilities and car showrooms, along with a 100-bed hotel. A number of high profile retailers are currently being lined up to be located at the site.

The development shows the commitment to delivering jobs and growth for the area.

Goole 36 is already home to Tesco Distribution Centre, Guardian Industries and Drax Biomas. Other high profile organisation located close by include ICI Paints, Kerfoot Group and Elite Office Furniture.

The site provides one of Yorkshire’s largest and most high profile industrial / distribution sites comprising 40 hectares of prime development land.

Goole 36 provides oven ready oven ready and non-developer tied land from approximately 0.5 hectares up to the largest single plot of circa 19 hectares able to accommodate buildings up to 1m sq.ft.

It is located adjacent to junction 36 of the M62 motorway with access to the port of Goole and the Humber Estuary ports of Hull, Grimsby and Immingham. There is potential to add a dedicated rail loading terminal.
