Humber Business Week is back for 2019 and boasts an exciting calendar of events across the Humber region, of which Humber LEP is proud to be an official partner.

Taking place this year between Monday, 3rd June and Friday, 7th June, it includes high-profile keynote speakers, expos, conferences, workshops, tours, celebration receptions – and of course the odd networking breakfast and lunch – providing an opportunity for companies of all sizes to acquire new knowledge, gain a better understanding and insights into key regional business developments, and to improve their own network of contacts.

The Humber Business Week 2019 programme will be officially launched on Wednesday, 8th May 2019 at the Nidd Building, Hull University Business School.

You are invited to attend from 5.30pm, with a chance to network and promote your event within the week.

Come along and hear from guest speakers including Business Week founder, Dr Paul Sewell OBE and Lee Pitcher, Yorkshire Water’s Head of Resilience and lead for the “Living with Water” project, who will talk about the importance of a collaborative approach to water resilience in Hull.

Now in its 15th year, Humber Business Week, organised in collaboration with Humber LEP, is a major highlight in the regional business calendar and we hope you will join us to mark the launch of this year’s exciting programme of events.

Meanwhile, Humber LEP will be launching our annual event on Wednesday, 5th June at the DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort in Broughton.

Join business leaders from across the Humber at our new-look Annual Business Summit. This flagship Humber Business Week event will include:

  • The State of the Humber – find out how the Humber economy is performing compared to its competitors
  • The Humber LEP’s AGM – your opportunity to hear from and question key decision-makers about the LEP’s work over the last year
  • Investment showcase – major investors in the region will talk about their plans and supply chain opportunities for businesses
  • The launch of the first phase of work on the new Humber Industrial Strategy – be amongst the first to hear about the next stage of the Humber’s plan for growth

There will also be an opportunity to meet with advisers from the Humber LEP Business Growth Hub‘s £6m #GrowMySME programme and other organisations working to support businesses in the region.
