Kick-starting Tourism Package

As announced by the government on Friday 03 July 2020, the Humber Business Growth Hub will be taking receipt of a share of the £10 million Kick-starting Tourism Package. This funding will be available to help support small and medium businesses (SMEs) that operate in the tourism industry in the Humber region; that is the City of Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

The Growth Hub is working with its accountable body Hull City Council to ensure that when the funding is made available to the Growth Hub, the required processes and systems are in place to ensure that the funding can be allocated in a timely, efficient and compliant manner.

The Growth Hub is still waiting for final verification from Government of the funding value that is to be allocated for businesses in the Humber. Once this is known we will publish details regarding how we will deliver this funding, how businesses can access the funding, and provide indicative timescales of when the scheme will open and other relevant dates and deadlines.

Businesses that are interested in learning more about this Kick-starting Tourism Package can submit an EOI to the Growth Hub at Growth.Hub@humberlep.org, providing their name, trading address and contact details (email and telephone number). We will then contact all EOI enquiries as soon as we have taken receipt of the funding and have finalised our delivery model for the Kick-starting Tourism Package.

As the Growth Hub is yet to receive the full details of this scheme and confirmation of the final value of this funding, we would politely request that businesses do not contact us directly about this fund at this time, but rather submit an EOI which we will reply to once we are in possession of full details and confirmation of the funding we will have available.
