The LEP has a tender opportunity available for an organisation to carry out research into the LEP Region’s Post EU Exit Business Engagement Research.

Enterprise Growth Solutions Limited (EGSL) is part of the Exemplas Group, and the Department for International Trade (DIT) Delivery Partner for the Yorkshire and Humber region. The March 2020 Budget saw DIT secure budget under the Levelling Up agenda to increase capacity to support exporters across the NP11, including the Humber. EGSL is now seeking suitably experienced companies to deliver a project to assess the impact of EU Exit on the international trade activities of businesses across the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership.

The overall aim of the project is to provide greater insight into the current and future exporting in the Humber and highlight emerging opportunities for export growth following the UK’s exit from the EU highlighting any addressable business support barriers to achieving that growth.

Keeping to a maximum of six sides of A4, bid submissions should reply against the following criteria:

  • Background to the company
  • Relevance and track record
  • Planned activity and methodology
  • Timescales and key milestones
  • Key staff engaged on the project and any sub-contractors proposed to be employed on the project
  • Deliverables (incl. number of stakeholder interviews and with whom)
  • Cost

Clear proposals are expected to outline specific costs and benefits.
