The HEY LEP Skills Network is now established and aims to build upon the excellent work done through the previous Humber LEP Skills Network on behalf of the Hull and East Yorkshire area.

It brings together key agencies, stakeholders and delivery partners that will provide leadership to the employment and skills agenda in Hull & East Yorkshire.

It will be used to cascade information about the LEP’s activity, act as a consultation body on future plans and will influence employment and skills provision in line with economic priorities. It involves providers in its delivery and provides a forum for agencies involved in all aspects of employment, skills and education in Hull & East Yorkshire to meet, network and share information and good practice.

It takes a strategic approach to careers advice and IAG and influences partners to ensure that the system delivers what the Hull & East Yorkshire economy needs as well as ensuring that LMI is produced and disseminated.

The HEY LEP Skills Network is led by an independent Chair and Vice Chair. These positions are currently vacant and the HEY LEP is seeking nominations from interested parties to take on these roles.
