What is the Local Growth Plan?
The Local Growth Plan (LGP) is a long-term approach that sets out how HEYCA will support local businesses, create jobs, and invest in our communities. It aligns with national priorities and local ambitions, aiming to build a thriving, innovative, and resilient economy for everyone in Hull and East Yorkshire.
The plan will:
- Analyse our region’s strengths and challenges.
- Set out clear priorities for growth and investment.
- Identify key sectors and opportunities for development.
- Outline actions and partnerships needed to deliver real change.
- Support the delivery of the Hull and East Yorkshire Gameplan.
Timeline
There are three key dates for the consultation –
- November 2025: Stage 1 consultation opens.
- Early 2026: Stage 2 consultation and further analysis.
- Spring 2026: Final plan published and submitted for approval.
How to Get Involved
HEYCA invite everyone – residents, businesses, community groups and partners – to review their initial proposals and share their views. Your input will directly influence the final plan.
