The Hull & East Yorkshire Growth Hub is part of the Hull & East Yorkshire Combined Authority (HEYCA) and provides free and impartial information, advice, guidance and signposting to businesses and pre-start individuals across the region.
The Growth Hub was founded on 1st April 2021 by the former Hull & East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership, and since then has supported thousands of businesses of all sizes, sectors and maturities, as well as hundreds of pre-start individuals to explore entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Funded by the government Department for Business & Trade, the Growth Hub is one of 41 Growth Hubs in England and works in close partnership with the Invest Hull (Hull City Council) and the Invest East Yorkshire (East Riding of Yorkshire Council) business support teams to provide coordinated, effective, and targeted support to the region’s business community.
HEY Growth Hub prides itself on being able to help businesses with all manner of enquiries, from funding to apprenticeship recruitment, to exporting, to innovation and business start-up, and much more besides. In this sense, the Growth Hub acts as a ‘one stop shop’ for all business and pre-start enquiries.

Specialist Support & Projects
The Growth Hub currently operates a number of specialist projects that offer discrete support. For example, our Made Smarter: Manufacturing Programme helps manufacturing firms to explore, adopt and implement industrial digital technology, whilst our Workforce Development Business Advisor assists employers to access funding skills training, explore apprenticeship recruitment opportunities, and to implement good workforce development and workforce wellbeing practices.
