Cancelling tests made as a trainer booker
You can be stopped from using the trainer booking facility for 12 months if you continually cancel 20% or more of all the tests you book close to the test date.
DVSA reviews the number of cancellations you make during a 10-week period to do this.
Cancellations that count towards the 20% limit are those made:
- 7 clear working days or less for motorcycle tests
- 5 clear working days or less for lorry, bus, Driver CPC and car and trailer tests
Sundays and public holidays do not count as working days.
Example
You can cancel a motorcycle test booked for 16 July 2012 on or before 6 July, and it won’t count towards the 20% limit.
