The HEY LEP’s Economic Growth and Workplace Wellbeing Strategy PDF file was published earlier this year and one of our priorities is to lead the transformation of the HEY LEP area skills profile, to deliver a highly skilled, healthy, and productive workforce, reducing inequality and increasing life chances for our communities and one of the key objectives is a healthy workplace.
To help achieve this priority we have worked with
partners to create HEY Workforce, a new digital resource containing a wealth

29-unit development features offices and workshops following demolition site regeneration
The £4.8 million Beverley Enterprise Centre has been officially opened. The project secured £1.5m from the European Regional Development Fund and £500,000 from the Getting Building Fund, secured by the Hull and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership, as part of the Government’s commitment to the Northern Powerhouse
Boasting 29 units for businesses, it sits on the Grovehill Industrial Estate, and was brought forward by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

The Governments new product safety marking for businesses
The government has announced a range of changes to make it simpler for businesses to apply new product conformity markings for most products placed on the market in England, Scotland and Wales.
The UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) mark is a mandatory mark on certain products, such as mobile phones, to indicate that they conform to Great Britain legislation. Businesses have until 1 January 2023 to start using UKCA marking which replaces the Conformitè Europëenne (CE).

The team are looking for a range of people to volunteer as participants in focus groups to discuss the social and cultural dimensions of the industrial low carbon energy transition in the Humber.
