The Employment and Skill funding agency Business Survey Request
The Employment and Skill Funding Agency (ESFA) is keen to make sure the Government’s wider skills offers continue to meet the needs of employers looking to develop their future talent; as well as individuals looking to progress in their careers and apprenticeship and traineeship subsidies, Kickstart and also the Redundancy Support Services for Apprentices, T-Levels, functional skills and the impact of Lockdown 3 on apprenticeships
They have a series of questions seeking your insight and observations.

John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank – Emergency Business Grant
John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank (JCYEB) has decided to create a funding opportunity for young entrepreneurs . Young people aged 16 – 29 that live in Hull can apply for funding of up to £250 or up to £400. The application must reflect what the funding will be used for.Applicants must already have a mentor who is currently supporting them.

We acknowledge that this a very challenging time for most businesses, and the ongoing pandemic situation, coupled to the turbulence of Brexit, have made the lives of business owners very difficult. However, the Peer Networks Programme can support with these issues, as the cohort groups are built around businesses with “issues in common”, and so business owners can talk through their Covid and Brexit difficulties in a mutually supportive group chaired by an experienced facilitator

DIT has launched its new European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) for eligible SME’s in Yorkshire and the Humber.
The Grant scheme is now open for applications If you have not already submitted an Expression of Interest do so, hundreds already have! Match-funded grants of between £1,000 and £9,000 will be available (subject to eligibility and availability).The funding can be used to support a number of activities, including market research, translation services, international social media and SEO, market visits and more.

Kick-starting Tourism Package – Grant restarting for the Visitor Economy
The Humber LEP’s Business Growth Hub is inviting businesses
in the Humber’s Visitor Economy to register for pre-application to a 100%
funded grant scheme to support with Covid-19 business recovery activity.
First launched in September 2020, the scheme has awarded grants
to more than 75 businesses to date, and with limited funding remaining, the
Growth Hub is encouraging eligible businesses to register for the scheme once
the online portal re-opens in January.
Grants of up to £3,000 are available, and can be used to
cover costs
Hull City Council to distribute £3,000 grants to businesses in hospitality sector
Hull City Council is to distribute thousands of pounds in extra
grant provision for pubs, cafes and restaurants after it was announced the city
will remain under Tier 3 Covid-19 restrictions.
The support will see
grants of £3,000 made available for hospitality venues required to close under
the Government measures.
Councillor Daren Hale,

Free invoice processing software from BEIS
BEIS has granted funded Evolution Invoice to offer 1,000 SMEs in England free invoice processing software until December 2021. Any company with less than 250 employees based in England is eligible. There is no limit on the amount of invoices they can process and the software integrates with all major accountancy software (such as Xero, Quickbooks and Sage) to make adoption seamless. After the initial trial period, the first 1,000 SMEs to join the program will be able to continue
