Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund – completes investment in engineering firm

The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF) has facilitated £250,000 worth of debt funding to Humber-based engineering firm Allied Protek Engineering Solutions.
Based in Grimsby, Allied Protek is an engineering specialist, providing a full project management package including design, engineering, installation and maintenance for clients in the food, drink, fine chemicals and pharma sectors.
The investment was made by NPIF – Enterprise Ventures Debt Finance, an NPIF

The grant is to help small businesses in York, North Yorkshire and East Riding ( Not including Hull) to improve their products and processes by providing grants for equipment which enables innovation

£136,000 Local Growth Fund grant allows for East Trans investment
Fast-growing logistics operator East Trans has made a £1.6m investment in a new, high-quality warehousing facility to capitalise on the rapid growth in online transactions.
The investment was supported by a £136,000 Local Growth Fund grant from the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), via North East Lincolnshire Council.
