£9.7m manufacturing support package launched to unlock SME potential
SME manufacturers have been given a major boost this week with news that a new £9.7m business support initiative is officially live and looking to support over 3000 companies.

Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund – Hull Launch
The £400m Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund launch took place at the Ferens Art Gallery in Hull on Wednesday 1st March.
Almost 200 Humber business people attended the event which was to launch the governments British Business Banks Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF).
Ten Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) based in the Northern Powerhouse region have collaborated with the British Business Bank to provide a £400m loan fund for businesses across the region. The fund is a combination of UK government funding, European Regional Development

Over 240 people attended the Humber Business Funding Expo at the Hull Guildhall on Wednesday 25th January. The event was organised by Technical Assistance Partnership and the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership. It brought together 20 different organisations who provide funding for business in the Humber region.
Delegates were able to talk to representatives from these organisations and seek advice on which funding streams were available to best suit their business requirements.
