Yorkshire and Humber-based lawyers are being asked to help promote awareness of new competition law compliance materials to business clients.

Around 120 law firms headquartered in Yorkshire and the Humber will be contacted by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), and encouraged to share the CMA’s easy-to-use competition law information with their small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients.

The information is intended to help SMEs recognise anti-competitive practices, comply with competition law and report suspicions of illegal anti-competitive activity.

Investments on track to add £1.42bn to Humber economy by end of Parliament

Projects and programmes invested in by the Humber LEP and delivered by partners are on track to add £1.42bn to the Humber economy by the end of 2019/20 – a return of £5 GVA benefit for every £1 invested.
