Dozens of entrepreneurs to benefit from new initiative
UK Steel Enterprise has announced the launch of a new fund that will help boost dozens of start-up businesses in North Lincolnshire over the next twelve months.
The Kickstart Fund initiative, launched in partnership with North Lincolnshire Council and the Growth Hub, has been introduced in a bid to support people looking to establish a business or become self-employed by helping with initial costs – especially for those with limited funds.

Digital innovation in the sharing economy
Innovate UK is offering 6 businesses up to £30,000 (excluding VAT) each to encourage innovation in the sharing economy, across the themes of trust, tourism and travel, opening up new sectors, home improvement, construction, and data and analytics.
The contest
Through our IC tomorrow programme, we are looking for proposals from companies with innovative digital ideas relevant to the sharing economy. The companies will not only benefit from funding, but also have the opportunity to collaborate with commercial partners to accelerate development

With almost £20m released in 2015/16 and £40m planned for release in 2016/17, the Humber LEP’s Growth Deal is supporting projects that help to drive the growth of the Humber economy.
Funding from the Government’s Local Growth Fund is being invested alongside other public and private sector funding in projects that will help to create an infrastructure that supports growth by improving access by road and rail, safeguarding from flooding, support businesses by unlocking projects to provide the right office space,
