Join the HEY Manufacturers network for a free and informal lunch, learn and networking session just before Christmas at the Aura Innovation Centre.

Learn about the upcoming events and activities of the manufacturers network in 2024, as well as the current business support and funding available for manufacturers from the two HEY local authorities.

Hear and learn from Goole-based network member Grotech Production Ltd, an award winning contract manufacturer and packer of blended liquids, powders and granules, specialising in the agriculture and horticulture chemical industries. Managing Director Martin Usher will give a presentation on the business, providing an insight into operations, the sharing of best practice advice, and a look at some of the challenges faced by the business over the past year and how these challenges have been overcome.

Finally, network with other manufacturing businesses over a Christmas buffet lunch from 1pm.

This event will be informal and we would encourage all current network members to join us, as well as those manufacturing firms who are yet to get involved with the network.

• 12.30pm – A look at Grotech, followed by Q&A discussion – Martin Usher, Managing Director, Grotech Production Ltd

• 1pm – Buffet lunch and networking

• 2pm – event close

Event Eligibility

The event is free to attend for representatives of manufacturing and engineering firms from across Hull & East Yorkshire, however booking is required to manage numbers. Please note that that to foster a spirit of openness and mutual support at meetings of the network, this event is for representatives of manufacturing and engineering businesses only, and representatives of professional services (banks, investment funds, accountants, law firms), consultancy firms and intermediaries will not be admitted. Bookings made by such organisations will be cancelled.
