HEY Manufacturers Network

Support Available 

The Network supports the growth and prosperity of the Hull and East Yorkshire manufacturing sector, by bringing together manufacturing firms to share best practice, develop knowledge, champion the sector, and raise awareness of trading challenges and issues.

Membership is free of charge for any business engaged in manufacturing in the Hull & East Yorkshire region, and the Network welcomes firms from a variety of manufacturing sub-sectors including fabrication, tooling, chemicals, food & drink, leisure home & caravan manufacture, and much else besides.

The network has a rolling programme of monthly events which includes:

• Workshops covering process efficiency, resource efficiency, workforce development, and more
• Behind the scenes ‘Industry Insight’ visits to regional manufacturing firms 
• Symposium style events covering topics such as recruitment and skills, industrial digital technology, and net zero
• Social networking events

The network also operates a bi-monthly newsletter featuring updates from the world of manufacturing and business support. The network is also planning to develop a membership directory to support networking between regional manufacturing firms. 

Eligibility Information 

Any manufacturing business based within Hull and East Yorkshire is able to join the network and attend its events. Unless specifically invited, organisations other than manufacturing firms are not permitted to join the network or attend events, including professional services firms, business consultants, recruitment consultants, and training providers.
