Net Zero Hydrogen Fund – Strand 2 – Capital expenditure (CAPEX)
Strand 2 of the Net Zero Hydrogen Fund will provide capital expenditure (CAPEX) support for new low carbon hydrogen production facilities to begin deployment in the early 2020s. Closing Date 06/07/22

Fast Start: Innovation
UK registered small and micro businesses can apply for a share of up to £30 million for affordable, adoptable and investable innovations in net zero and Healthcare. Closing date 26/07/22

UK-South Korea Collaborative R&D
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £2 million for this competition. This funding is for the purpose of developing innovative proposals with South Korea. Closing date 06/07/22

SBRI: MRV tools and techniques for land based greenhouse gas removal, phase 1
Organisations can apply for a share of £375,000, inclusive of VAT, to develop tools, technologies and techniques to assist and enable the monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) of land based greenhouse gas removal (GGR) methods. Closing date 07/09/22


Canada-UK Net Zero Value Chains – Transportation
UK registered businesses and Canadian SMEs can apply to collaborate on joint R&D projects that enable the transition to net zero for the automotive, rail, or maritime sectors. The total grant for all UK partners can be up to £300,000 for each application Closing date 29/06/22

Young Innovators Awards 2022 to 2023
Young people can apply for an award to make their business idea a reality. This includes a grant for £5,000, a living allowance, and tailored business support. Closing date 27/07/22

Farming Innovation Programme – large R&D partnership projects
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of £8 million for large R&D partnership projects, from the industry-led R&D Partnerships Fund, a part of the Farming Innovation Programme. Closing date 29/06/22

Faraday Battery Challenge Round 5 Innovation: Feasibility Studies
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £25 million across two strands, for innovation in propulsion battery technologies for electric vehicles. Closing date 17/08/22

Innovate UK Smart Grants:
UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £25million for game-changing and commercially viable R&D innovation that can significantly impact the UK economy. This funding is from Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation. Closing date 27/07/22


Energy Catalyst Round 9 – Mid Stage
Organisations can apply for a share of up to £20 million to create new or improved clean energy access in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia or the Indo-Pacific regions. Closing Date 10/08/22


Energy Catalyst Round 9 – Early Stage
Organisations can apply for a share of up to £20 million to create new or improved clean energy access in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia or the Indo-Pacific regions. Closing Date 10/08/22
