The Resource Portal is a free tool for those who are seeking resource materials or guidance to help with their business. Operated by East Riding of Yorkshire Council on behalf of HEY Growth Hub and Hull City Council, the portal is available to all businesses across Hull & East Yorkshire.
The Resource Portal has 6 main categories of resource:

- Business Finance & Legal
- Business Planning & Strategy
- Operations
- Sales & Marketing
- New Product/Service
Resources range from; templates, guides, hints & tips, videos, external links - all covering topics on cashflow, business planning, social media, marketing, tax returns and much more!
Through setting up notifications on the portal, you can follow categories that interest you and be updated via email when new resources are added in your areas of interest. You can also save useful resources in your ‘Favourites’, and your dashboard will be tailored to the types of resources that you are interested in.
Eligibility Information
The resource portal can be accessed by anyone at any business stage; from established business owners to those thinking of starting a business. Any business or individual based in Hull and East Yorkshire can access the Resource Portal.
You must register a user account to access the resources available on the portal; however, it is FREE to sign up.
